Marvin Payne

Marvin Payne is an actor, writer, songmaker, and recording artist. After attending BYU on Music Performance and Creative Writing scholarships, he released a dozen albums of original songs and toured the country extensively as a solo concert artist in the seventies. In the eighties, his career expanded into theatre and film. His acting has shown up on the Disney Channel, the major networks, and PBS. He directed for MacMillan/McGraw Hill their Share The Music series, two hundred audio episodes for teaching musical principles to the nation’s elementary school children. He co-authored the musical plays The Planemaker, Charlie’s Monument, Wedlocked, and The Trail Of Dreams, for extensive production. He writes a monthly column, Backstage Graffiti, for MeridianMagazine.com. With Steven Perry, he created the folk oratorio, Family, A Joyful Proclamation. Roger & Melanie Hoffman Roger and Melanie Hoffman have been writing songs and performing together since 1982. Roger has been featured soloist with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and on dozens of other recorded works. He has received awards for his compositions including the CLIO and Peabody awards. As a songwriter, his most recognized work is Consider the Lilies of the Field, title song of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's best-selling CD.

Melanie's education (BA Fine Arts from BYU) and life-time focus has been in art, literature and music for children. She has written 116 of the songs found in Peace Mountain’s projects. She has worked with Roger as producer of a dozen CDs for Hoffman House Recordings. Melanie and Roger have released eight CDs together. Read more at www.hoffmanhouse.com.

Steven Kapp Perry Steven Kapp Perry is a songwriter, playwright, and broadcaster. In 1999 he won the FCMA Pearl Award for Best Soundtrack for the Cast Recording of The Trail of Dreams. In 2004 and again in 2005 he won the Pearl award for Best Radio Show of the Year which airs in Salt Lake City on FM100 every Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm. He produces a weekly Podcast, The Cricket & Seagull Fireside Chat, on MeridianMagazine.com. He is the creator of twelve albums of original music, including From Cumorah’s Hill and Come To The House Of The Lord. He wrote POLLY–A One-Woman Musical, featured on PBS.
