"Connecting Children to Their Heavenly Father"

A Production of Peace Mountain Mediaworks

THE VISION
• As Peace Mountain Mediaworks, we’ve been teaching the joy of the Gospel to children for 20 years with remarkable success. Testimonies of truth have been born musically, dramatically, humorously, and memorably, hundreds of thousands of times to children who venture into the world of Scripture Scouts.
• With the fierce competition for the minds of our children, we are convinced, by our experience and by the countless stories told by grateful parents, that our greatest opportunity to win this battle is to fill their days with truth, truth encompassed in gospel-centered content that is fun and inviting. The Internet suddenly, almost miraculously, affords us access to children worldwide, reaching far beyond the the limited audience of LDS bookstore customers.
• Our vision is to create a vast web site for children, the first of its kind, where families can spend unlimited time for free, interactively exploring the wonders, assurances, and opportunities of the Restoration

THE CONTENT
• More than a mere web site, this will be a playground, clubhouse, and sanctuary, with “Sesame Street” style teaching available 24/7, constantly refreshed projects, puzzles, and empowering interactive games. There will be a speaking gallery of fine art that expresses faith and testimony, to be explored and enjoyed endlessly. Children will visit “Boo’s Blog,” where they can ask their favorite talking dog questions and get full scripture stories for answers. “Joyful Noise” will host LDS musical stars. Vital expressions of doctrine like the Family Proclamation will be there in children’s language, illustrated by children.
• More than 300 principle-driven songs and many hours of children’s programming, already created, will be animated, illustrated, taught in sing-alongs, and “likened unto” our young visitors’ life challenges.

THE INVITATION
• We are set to launch the ScriptureScouts.com content on the Internet publicly in September 2006.
• Please visit www.ScriptureScouts.com, in place now, to get a first-hand view of the sample content we plan to expand to children everywhere.
• ScriptureScouts.com is conceived in the Sesame Street “not-for-profit” model: for children, for free.
• We invite you to join us this important work. Make a generous donation that will enable us to create a place on the web for children to connect with truth. Tax-deductible donations may be made through the Latter-day Foundation for the Arts, a 501 (c) (3) corporation - 1087 E 680 North - Orem, Utah 84097.
