“Connecting Children to God through His Word”

THE VISION

•THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A GREATER NEED FOR CHILDREN to know who they are and how they can find peace in a confusing world... and suddenly, almost miraculously,

•THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A GREATER TOOL to meet that need. The “worldwide web” reaches billions of people on all continents at all times of the day and night. Now, we can cover the world with the Gospel in a way never before dreamed of. ScriptureScouts.com will be an infusion of light into a medium that's pervading the planet.

•THE “MISSIONARY” THAT GETS THROUGH CLOSED DOORS Using the web, where children are going in ever increasing numbers, we will create a website where we can reach children directly with “Sesame Street” style teaching and children’s radio 24/7, free of charge.

•KIDS WILL HAVE FUN WHILE BEING EMPOWERED Through stories, songs, games, puzzles, art projects, and personal interactive adventures, children will learn the truths of the Restored Gospel; practical knowledge that will teach them how to live successfully and happily in their world.

•TAKING A PROVEN PRODUCT TO THE WORLD As Peace Mountain Mediaworks (principally Marvin Payne, Roger and Melanie Hoffman, and Steven Kapp Perry) we’ve been teaching the joy of the Gospel to children for 20 years with remarkable success, but our reach has been limited to an audience of LDS bookstore customers.  With the development of the worldwide web, we can take that teaching to a much greater audience.  We can make a real difference in the lives of children all over the world.

•RICH CONTENT RESOURCES We have written over 300 principle-driven songs and produced many hours of programming for children.  Much of our initial effort will be to use that material as a foundation for our internet presence.
